on the go!

Offspring #1 is winging her way today to the University of Wyoming in Laramie to take part in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, "a national theater program involving 18,000 students from colleges and universities nationwide which has served as a catalyst in improving the quality of college theater in the United States". I'm hoping she has uneventful travels and a terrific week!

**After reading mompriest's comment... I should clarify that this represents Offspring #1's region, not the entire country.**

Offspring #2 and his girlfriend drove from college through some "epic" traffic to spend the long weekend at home. I'm hoping they have more clear sailing when they head back Tuesday morning.

And now Offspring #2 and I will be "on the go" as we head out for a bike ride!

I've been to Laramie a number of times. Never would have thought they'd have this kind of a festival there....

Hope the bike ride is great. Pouring rain here - which is a lot better than snow, at this point in time.

I agree -- Laramie does seem an unlikely spot! That just happens to be the location for their 'region' this year (which includes AK, WA, OR, ID, MT, WY and CO).

Bike ride was indeed nice. And glad you are getting a break from the snow!

Good to see you and your youngest as I power walked. Definitely a good day for being outside.

I have been to Laramie! Performed there when I was in Covenant Players. She'll have a great time!

Happy bicycling. It's nice here too. But once again, I drown in laundry, bills and cat garp. (the joy just never ends.....)

DB: nice to bump into you today (not literally of course)

PG: Did you travel all over the country with the Covenant Players?

Jiff: Thanks, I lucked out big time with Offsprings 1&2.

I toured pretty much most of the country for varying lengths of time. Longer tours were Minnesota/Wisconsin, Pacific Northwest, Indiana/Ohio. Lots of adventures in my young'un days.
