Smokey had that surgery and came through just fine. The worst part is keeping them from licking it afterward. I hate those cone things vets make animals wear.
We dressed Smokey in onesies. Worked like a charm. (Of course, it's a little more complicated with a cat because you don't control when they go to the bathroom, so how would you know when to unsnap the bottom? Oh well. Never mind.)

He really does, the voice and looks. Kind of unfortunate for him. I'm going to call him droopy from now on!

Anyway.... Mr. Tumnus did fine with the surgery and is home recuperating with Offspring #1.
