another ride... another sign

I took my bike for a spin early this evening (it was gray, windy, and cold by the way!) and rode by a church with this sign:

Now I have a good idea of what to expect at the 8:30 traditional service. And I pretty much know what the 9:45 contemporary service would be like too. Of course the Korean Church is self-explanatory.

But the 11:15 "Next Generation" service? You got me there. My first thought was that it is for people like this:

Any other ideas?

How's this.....

Star Trek (the original):
"...Enterprise; its five-year mission.....to boldly go where NO MAN HAS GONE BEFORE!" (emphasis Captain Kirk's)

Star Trek the Next Generation:
"...Enterprise; its five-year mission....to boldly go where NO ONE has gone before."

Which means the church you mentioned has finally come to the realization that God is neither he nor she, but both!

However, I could be wrong. I'm a kindergarten teacher, gosh darn it, not a philosopher!

(and I deleted my first comment.....too many typos, even for me)

Well, that was my first thought, too.

Is this the church with the water fountain people like to sud up on occasion? That's a religion I could have faith in ;)

LOL ... I was thinking maybe it was free childcare of members of "next generation" while this generation went for bike rides to check out church signs -:)

:) great comments, everybody!

dustbunny: knew you'd like the trekkie reference

hotcup: I had the same question about age!

david: yep, that's the church, although it has been "suds free" for a while

rev ss: haha, yep, "this generation" is definitely into taking bike rides to check out the church signs!

I love the Star Trek photo.

I'm clueless about the sign.
