MC, I live in Longview, WA which is about an hour north of Portland. So if you visit your family member we could meet at Powell's Books or something! :)

So beautiful! There used to be a rose garden in Fairhaven Park in Bellingham, WA (my hometown), but someone mowed it down a few years ago. So sad.AHHH, the mention of Powell's makes me dream of coming to Portland again. . . .
I'll enjoy looking at them .. but think I'll pass on smelling them and the resultant allergy headache :(
