and now for something fun...

Offspring #2 is up at college taking summer classes and doing some part time work. On July 4th he inadvertently locked himself out of his bedroom at his (sublet) apartment -- no key. I was impressed with how he solved the problem. I'm picturing that it went something like this:

(By the way, Mallard's is a great ice cream place.)

diane, thanks! :)

dust bunny, I added a link at the bottom of the post -- click on that. (If that doesn't work, you might have to change some settings on your computer.)

That is one fine video! You are very good at this stuff.

So...how did Offspring#2 solve the problem?

My son locked himself in his room when he was only two and couldn't figure out how to unlock it. So I kicked the door in. Yup. Even tore off part of the molding. Handyman never disrespected me again!

pg, did you miss the lock picking with the bobby pin as suggested by Q? Better hit that video one more time! :)

p.s. pg, I am impressed with your kicking strength!

Yeah, I used a bobby pin to pick the lock. You always have to go with Q's advice.

Great video!!
