barb & the bard...

Offspring #1 (far right) is on the tail end of summer quarter and gearing up for the start of the Skagit River Shakespeare Festival. Twelfth Night opens August 1st. I'm reaaallllly looking forward to seeing her in the role of Viola and enjoying Shakespeare under the stars. Who wants to come along? :)

They had a nice article in the Skagit Valley Herald today. You can read it here.

lovely...really. If I could get across the country I'd come too! Oh to be wealthy, I'd fly to NYC and watch Songbird's son in his play then fly to Portland and watch this play - I'll take delight in knowing that you all are having this opportunity

A private jet would be cool (but then I'd feel guilty about my carbon footprint!)

I know... there are so many places to go and things and people to meet in this world... but I want to do at least SOME of it.

Forsooth Blogger Friends of the Web!! I prithee listen! An answer doth await between the Pages of Rowling that promises sweet transport to Offspring #1's Festival of Draema. Regard! The Broom for the sportive and the Portkey for those inclined to stay earthbound!

If only.......That'd sure be fun to see.

You are SO FUNNY, and brillient, too, Presby Gal. And, BB, as you know from previous conversations, I'm just waiting for a call saying when you'd like to swing by and pick me up on the way to see the play.

I'm thinkin' a broom would match my personality just fine. Portkeys seem a bit rough. In any case, Only Daughter and I are excited to head north to see the talented Viola AND Lovely University by the Water.
