arthroscopic adventure

Tomorrow morning Offspring #2 has surgery to repair his shoulder. He has had recurrent dislocations -- the last one at the high school state tennis tournament (pictured above) which was a major bummer.

So we'd appreciate any and all well wishes, prayers, and positive thoughts directed his way! :)

Thanks everyone... surgery went well. It took a little longer than expected (over 3 hours), but Offspring #2 came through it fine!

I'm soooooooo glad to hear that. #2 Offspring has had a wild ride this last year. Give him a wave and a smile for me (hugs aren't recommended at the moment!)

Thanks for all the comments! He's doing much better than we expected with the pain.

So glad you posted about the successful surgery!

Thanks... he is continuing to do well. He has a tiny bit more mobility today and is handling the pain admirably! It will be a long road to full recovery, but he's got a great attitude.
